Having spent the first 20 years of his life in Wiltshire staring at sheep in the field behind his large childhood home Jonnie decamped to London where he frittered away his days staring at buildings in the streets behind his small adulthood apartment before finally deciding to move to the South of France so he could stare at the mountains instead. Occasionally he works as an Actor and Screenwriter having appeared in numerous films and TV shows including a feature film he wrote and produced called "Do Elephants Pray?" based on a set of photographs hidden within this site, he also works as a Voice Over Artist . He currently divides his time between London and The South of France where he lives with his partner Stéphanie and daughter Rosalie Triskelle.

He is quite open in admitting that he uses photography as an excuse to go on holiday and travel the world and uses travelling the world as an excuse for taking photos. He has recently bought a new Pentax digital SLR. They are very happy together.
